07 - Sharing Your Work

Every finished image or clip in PyxelJam Studio can be shared with one click. You get a public link that shows a picture wherever you paste it, plays the clip, and credits you as the creator.

Where the Share button is

Look for the share icon next to Download in any preview: the image and clip viewers, the take carousel, Compare Takes, Clip Review and the clip grid on the Production tab, New Videos, the Media Library, and your Trailer and Title Cards.

What happens when you click it

The link is prepared in a few seconds (a clip takes a little longer than an image), then you see:

  • Public link with a Copy button.
  • Caption: a suggested post you can edit. It is saved with the link.
  • Show my name on the page: turn it off to publish without your name.
  • Post the link: X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and WhatsApp open a pre-filled post.
  • Post the file: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat do not accept links from a website, so these buttons download the file, copy your caption and open the app's upload page. On a phone you get a single "Share to apps" button that opens your share sheet with the file.

Sharing the same image or clip again gives you the same link.

Confirm your email first

On the Starter plan, public links and client review links unlock once you have confirmed your email address. Share pages are public, so we need to know the account is yours. Until then a bar at the top of every page reminds you, with a Resend email button if the first link went missing. Paid plans can share right away.

The public page

Anyone with the link sees your image or clip, its title, your name (if you left the byline on) and a "Made with PyxelJam Studio" note. Viewers can share it onwards. The page also carries a Content Credentials link that says the work is AI-generated.

Watermark on the Starter plan

On the Starter plan the shared copy carries a small PyxelJam mark in the corner. Your original file is untouched. Standard and Pro shares have no mark. See Plans and Pricing.

Managing and revoking links

Open the project, go to Settings → Shared links. Each link shows whether it is an image or a clip, how many times the page was opened, and buttons to copy, edit or revoke it. Revoking takes the page down immediately; posts that used the link lose their preview.

Good to know

  • Only saved takes are shared. If you adjusted an image in the viewer, save it first.
  • Files uploaded to the Media Library without a project cannot be shared; generations inside a project can.
  • View counts ignore the automatic previews that social platforms and chat apps fetch.
