01 - Plans and Pricing

PyxelJam Studio has three plans: Starter, Standard, and Pro. Every plan combines a set of features with a monthly credit allowance that powers AI generation. This page explains what each plan costs and what it unlocks.

Launch pricing. The prices below are our launch prices and may change as the platform grows. Changes never apply mid-cycle: whatever you signed up at is what you pay until your current billing period ends, and we will always announce pricing changes in advance.

The plans at a glance

Paying yearly gives you two months free compared to the monthly price.

Starter (free trial)

Starter is a free, one-time trial. No credit card required. When you verify your email you receive 300 trial credits to explore the platform.

Starter is a real run through the platform, not a locked demo. It includes:

• One video production project - the full script-to-video pipeline, including Director Mode, so your trial credits buy actual output
• Storyboard and video generation - AI image and video generation for the shots in that project
• Asset libraries - characters, locations, and props
• Media library - everything you generate and upload, with 2 GB of storage
• Publishing - connect your social channels and track microdrama submissions
• Marketing assets tool
• Core directing vocabulary - the essential framing and camera-move controls from the Director Language Protocol (DLP)
• Core workflow templates - the starting points for the most common formats

Everything you generate on Starter is yours, commercial work included. The one difference is that a video you export on Starter carries a small PyxelJam watermark in the bottom-right corner; individual images and takes you download are not marked. The 300 credits are a one-time grant rather than a recurring allowance; once they are used, upgrading to Standard or Pro unlocks a monthly allowance, removes the watermark from new exports, and lifts the one-project limit.

Standard ($29/month or $290/year)

Standard is the full production platform for individual creators and small teams. It includes everything in Starter, plus:

• Unlimited projects - no cap on how many productions you run at once
• Watermark-free exports and 50 GB of storage
• Full DLP directing vocabulary - lenses, blocking, performance, color, and pacing controls
• Full workflow template set
• Acting - drive a shot with your own recorded voice or on-camera performance
• Video foley - AI sound effects for your clips
• Analytics dashboard
• Multiplayer collaboration and 2 team seats
• Up to 3 generations in progress at once
• 3,000 credits per month, plus the ability to buy extra credit packs
• Watermark-free commercial use of everything you generate

Pro ($79/month or $790/year)

Pro is the plan for serious productions, teams and agencies. It includes everything in Standard, plus:

• 10,000 credits per month - about 18% cheaper per credit than Standard
• Fast Lane - up to 6 generations in progress at once (Standard: 3), and Pro jobs go first in the queue when it is busy
• First Look - every new video model the month it arrives: new models are Pro-only for their first 30 days
• Credits that last - unused subscription credits roll over for 3 months instead of 1
• 20% off every credit pack and automatic top-up
• Production cost tracking - each project's Overview shows what it has cost so far, split into images and video
• 5 team seats and 250 GB of storage
• Your own workflow templates - create, duplicate and edit templates for the new-project picker
• Webhooks - notify Zapier, Make, Slack, Discord or Teams when a clip or render finishes
• Delivery to your own S3-compatible storage
• AI decision log - see why each shot used the video model it did

Which plan should I pick?

• Just looking around? Start with Starter - it is free and needs no card.
• Making videos regularly, alone or with one collaborator? Standard covers the full pipeline.
• A bigger team, high volume or client work? Pro adds speed (Fast Lane), new models first, cheaper and longer-lasting credits, cost tracking per project, and more seats and storage.
