01 - Plans and Pricing

PyxelJam Studio has three plans: Starter, Standard, and Pro. Every plan combines a set of features with a monthly credit allowance that powers AI generation. This page explains what each plan costs and what it unlocks.

Launch pricing. The prices below are our launch prices and may change as the platform grows. Changes never apply mid-cycle: whatever you signed up at is what you pay until your current billing period ends, and we will always announce pricing changes in advance.

The plans at a glance

Paying yearly gives you two months free compared to the monthly price.

Starter (free trial)

Starter is a free, one-time trial. No credit card required. When you verify your email you receive 300 trial credits to explore the platform.

Starter is a real run through the platform, not a locked demo. It includes:

• One video production project - the full script-to-video pipeline, including Director Mode, so your trial credits buy actual output
• Storyboard and video generation - AI image and video generation for the shots in that project
• Asset libraries - characters, locations, and props
• Media library - everything you generate and upload, with 2 GB of storage
• Publishing - connect your social channels and track microdrama submissions
• Marketing assets tool
• Core directing vocabulary - the essential framing and camera-move controls from the Director Language Protocol (DLP)
• Core workflow templates - the starting points for the most common formats

Starter is for evaluating PyxelJam Studio, so trial output is not licensed for commercial use and exported video carries a small PyxelJam watermark. The 300 credits are a one-time grant rather than a recurring allowance; once they are used, upgrading to Standard or Pro unlocks a monthly allowance, removes the watermark, and lifts the one-project limit.

Standard ($29/month or $290/year)

Standard is the full production platform for individual creators and small teams. It includes everything in Starter, plus:

• Unlimited projects - no cap on how many productions you run at once
• Watermark-free exports and 50 GB of storage
• LoRA styles in the asset libraries, on top of characters, locations, and props
• Full DLP directing vocabulary - lenses, blocking, performance, color, and pacing controls
• Full workflow template set
• Acting - drive a shot with your own recorded voice or on-camera performance
• Video foley - AI sound effects for your clips
• Analytics dashboard
• Multiplayer collaboration and 2 team seats
• AI project setup - describe your project and let the AI configure it
• 3,000 credits per month, plus the ability to buy extra credit packs
• Commercial use of everything you generate

Pro ($79/month or $790/year)

Pro adds client work and studio-scale tooling on top of everything in Standard:

• Client management - manage client companies and their projects in one place
• Overnight production - queue large batches to run while you sleep
• Custom DLP vocabulary authoring - define your own house terms and camera moves
• AI decision audit trail - see exactly what the AI decided and why, on every step
• 5 team seats and 250 GB of storage
• 10,000 credits per month
• Priority email support

Which plan should I pick?

• Just looking around? Start with Starter - it is free and needs no card.
• Making videos regularly, alone or with one collaborator? Standard covers the full pipeline.
• Working with clients, a bigger team, or high volume? Pro adds the client tools, seats, and headroom.

You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings, and plan switches are prorated. See Billing and Invoices for how proration works, and Credits for how allowances and packs behave.
