05 - Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel at any time, and we keep the rules simple and predictable. Here is exactly what happens when you do.

Cancelling your subscription

Cancel from Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription (the Stripe portal) with a couple of clicks. No phone calls, no chat queues, no retention hoops.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period:

  • You keep full access to your plan's features and remaining credits until that date.
  • You are not charged again after you cancel.
  • On your period end date, your account moves to the free Starter level.

If you change your mind before the period ends, you can resume the subscription from the same portal and nothing is interrupted.

What happens to my credits?

  • Subscription credits (your monthly or annual allowance) follow the normal rollover policy: they remain usable through their 1-month grace period, then expire. Cancelling does not extend them.
  • Purchased credit packs remain yours. Pack credits never expire and stay on your balance after cancellation. If you resubscribe later, they are right where you left them.

What happens to my projects and content?

Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your projects, scripts, storyboards, generated images and videos, and asset libraries all remain stored on your account. Features beyond the Starter level lock, but your work is safe and everything unlocks again if you resubscribe.

Anything you generated while subscribed remains yours to use under the license of the plan you generated it on - cancelling does not revoke rights to content you already created.

Refunds

  • We do not refund partial months or partial years. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period instead.
  • Credit pack purchases are non-refundable once any credits from the pack have been used.
  • Where consumer protection law in your country requires a refund (for example a statutory cooling-off period), that law naturally applies and we honor it.
  • If something went genuinely wrong on our side - you were double-charged, or a billing error occurred - contact support and we will make it right.

Deleting your account

If you want your account and data removed entirely (not just cancelled), contact support from the email address on the account and request deletion. We will confirm the request, then permanently delete your account, projects, and generated content. This is irreversible, so make sure you have downloaded anything you want to keep first.

Before you go: if the issue is price or a missing feature, we would honestly love to hear about it - send us a note through the contact form. It goes straight to the team building the product.
